Salisbury, Plain Sailing

Acting on behalf of Joules, Robert Bebington & Company have secured an upsize of their premises in Salisbury, taking a double shop unit extending to 1,750 sq ft of ground floor sales, within New Canal, adjacent to the Mall Shopping Centre at a rental of £60,000 per annum, together with a substantial package of incentives.

Coincidentally, Joules have disposed of their surplus unit in Silver Street for a small premium, this extending to 1,000 sq ft of ground floor sales (plus ancillary space), at a similar level of rent, with the incoming purchaser being Sea Salt Ltd.

Robert Bebington says this is part of Joules process of upgrading and enhancing the unit size within the portfolio of this popular fashion retailer.

 

Hampton Courts Costa

Acting on behalf of private investors, Robert Bebington & Company have let a unit of about 800 sq ft in Hampton Hill for 10 years to a franchisee of Costa Coffee who are taking their second unit in this south west London suburb and are paying a rent in excess of the asking in order to position themselves next to Tesco Express.

 

Robert Bebington sees this as a reflection of the bustling suburban setting in this “leafy” part of south west London.
